The Bungalow, Forst & Associates, Restaurant Project

The Bungalow

Location: Huntington Beach, CA
Type: Renovation

Description: This renovation in “Surf City, USA” was a unique, custom design that included kitchen, bar, lounge, and dining areas as well as a beachfront patio with underfloor gas connections for patio heaters. Unique lighting, wooden ceilings, and existing structural components required some creative solutions to design the MEP infrastructure that supported the intended design aesthetic.

 
H.M. Franks’s O’Shea’s, Forst & Associates, Restaurant Project

H.M. Franks’s O’Shea’s

Location: Jeffersonville, IN
Type: Adaptive Reuse/ Design-Build

Description: Originally the H.M. Frank’s Dry Good Store, this adaptive reuse project added this bar and restaurant to historic Spring Street in Jeffersonville, IN. The owner did much of the work himself, and we provided the insight and plan to get him off and running.

 
Tekka Grill & Sushi, Forst & Associates, Restaurant Project

Tekka Grill & Sushi

Location: Lexington, KY
Type: New Construction

Description: This project was packed with MEP challenges. With 8 Hibachi grills and a full commercial kitchen, maintaining positive pressure was a major design consideration. Variable speed fans and equipment sequencing helps to keep the space comfortable for both the diners and employees.

 

McDonald’s Upgrades

Locations: Various locations in IL, IN, KY, MO, & TN
Type: Renovation of existing stores

Description: We have completed dozens of these projects to aid in the cosmetic upgrade of the exterior as well as the customer areas of various McDonald’s restaurants. Upgrades included new point-of-sales stations, customer ordering stations, and updated lighting to match the new decor. Working with the corporate guidelines and specifications, we provided drawings to aid in bidding and renovating these stores.
