Prince Hall Village, Forst & Associates, Low-Rise Project

Prince Hall Village

Location: Frankfort, KY
Type: Renovation

Description: Originally built in the 1970’s, this apartment complex project upgraded 10 two-story apartment buildings plus a community building, and maintenance building. Ninety-eight apartments were upgraded with new lighting & plumbing fixtures. HVAC systems were retrofitted with energy-efficient gas furnaces and hot water heaters. Kentucky Housing Corp guidelines were met to allow the owners to utilize tax credits and aid to support the renovation and provide quality living spaces for residents.

 
Delphimium Apartments, Forst & Associates, Low-Rise Project

Delphimium Apartments

Location: Prospect, KY (Norton Commons)
Type: New Construction

Description: This project was a new 3-story, 21-unit, affordable housing complex in a newly-planned residential community. The project required us to keep costs low while providing a building that fit in with the high-end community where it was located. Close coordination with the architect facilitated creative solutions for fitting necessary amenities into apartments.

 
Arneman Place Apartment Complex, Forst & Associates, Low-Rise Project

Arneman Place Apartment Complex

Location: Erie, PA
Type: New Construction

Description: This 11-building apartment complex includes 9 two-story apartment buildings, community building, and maintenance building. Site planning work with the civil engineers was required to minimize site sewer, water and gas connections and pipe sizes. The well-appointed, affordable apartments included attached parking garages and individual laundry rooms in the 2-, 3- & 4-bedroom townhomes which were LEED certified for energy efficiency.

 
Pebblecreek Crossing, Forst & Associates, Low-Rise Project

Pebblecreek Crossing

Location: Richmond, KY
Type: New Construction

Description: Pebblecreek Crossing is a 48-unit, 3-story senior living apartment building including storage rooms, exercise facilities and a grandkids room. Heat pump split systems were utilized to provide energy efficient heating & cooling for both the apartments and common areas.
