Description: This former loading dock was converted into a storage room and mixing room for this industrial foam manufacturer. A lower chamber was constructed to catch contaminated fire sprinkler water should the system be activated. The lower chamber had specific exhaust, venting, and draining requirements to be met with this MEP design.

Description: Copart is a company that “specializes in the resale and marketing of used, wholesale, and salvage title vehicles” per their website. As the business was growing into new geographical areas, they required new salvage yards and the accompanying garage and office to support the auctions and sales. We have designed more than a dozen prototypical buildings in locations across the country. Although each building is nearly identical, the sites they sit on are not. Some are in developed areas with city utilities. Others are in remote locations that required coordination with the site civil engineers to put together a cohesive design package for the owner.

Description: Unique environmental considerations were top of mind for the renovation projects at this meat processing facility. Several projects have been completed at this site including a new guard shack, a connector from the guardshack to the facility for Covid screenings, office updates, cafeteria renovations, and reconfigurations of processing areas. Special care was taken in the design with respect to coronavirus concerns in this type of facility in order to keep everyone safe and our food supply chain running. Speciality air purification systems were included in all central air designs, as well as considerations for airflow paths.
